TNW-ATC Harvest Home Celebration For Autumn Equinox 2024 e.v.

Eightfold are the festivals of the The Witches’ Wheel of the Year. They are the ancient mystery of Sun and Earth, of Lady and Lord, of the continuous dance of the seasons. The Legendary Wheel of the 8 Solar Festivals, includes those originally celebrated as "The Cross Quarter Days", and now additionally includes the two Equinoxes and Solstices, affording us the opportunity to think about, contemplate, experience and celebrate each of these Seasonal Shifts in as personal a way as we do will. Now at Autumn Equinox, the second harvest festival season of gathering continues. We give thanks for the rewards of our works, bounty of our lives and fortify ourselves for the dark tide ahead. As this is the Festival of Plenty on the Witches’ Wheel of the Year, here at our Salem Temple of Nine Wells, we will perform a ceremony of Thanksgiving to Mother Earth who provides nourishment for all her children.

In this tide of the Autumnal Equinox, when day and night are balanced on the Wheel of the Year, we take the light of the Sun deep into our bodies to fortify the spirit within us that we may be guided and guarded through the times ahead. We work our magicks to strengthen and lengthen the light which remains, that our personal harvests and harvests of all on Mother Earth be plentiful. We work this night to turn aside and avert all harm: and our minds range forth to turn aside any forces that might threaten this season of harvest, or cause ill will amongst humanity, to restore and maintain the equilibrium of our lives.This is the time for seeking emotional balance and mental balance; bringing balance to spirit, mind body and soul.
