Witches All and Friends of the Craft!
We welcome you to share with us a sacred ceremony this evening as we turn the Witches’ Wheel of the Year at the approach Imbolctide and invoke the Celestial Planetary influences of the Aquarian Convergence. Imbolc also known as Imbolg, Oimelc, Candlemas and by a host of other names is an Ancient Seasonal Holy Day that happens about February 1st and 2nd. For those who live in the Northern Hemisphere, it is a quiet time to gather  ones’ forces for the coming Spring, a time for contemplation and inner magickal workings .  It begins a season for self-reflection. Imbolc, which means "in the belly", is a feast of home and hearth.  Winter is nearing an end and as we cast off this icy darkness we welcome the "quickening" of the Earth Mother as the Goddess stirs life within each one of us. It is celebration of the returning light as darkness fades and the days grow longer. For Witches and mystical folk, In modern times, now begins a period of ritual purification which starts on Imbolc night and continues to the Vernal Equinox, Ostara.

The month of February hosts celebrations in many cultures: Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Norse, Asian, Santerian, Hindu and more. For our Spiritual Ancestors in the Celtic Lands, this day was sacred to Brighid, also known as Brigit,  and by many other names.  She is the Triple Goddess of Divine Inspiration, Poetry, Smithcraft and Healing. 

This February, Celestial Planetary influences may be part of  heralding the long-predicted "Age of Aquarius". With the Moon and 5 planets in the zodiacal sign of Aquarius, humanity will be experiencing shifts of consciousness, disidentifying from simply materialistic attachments and waking up to Cosmic Truth as we navigate through 2021 e.v.
